On 27/01/21 the Parish Council Clerk received written notification from Stockton Council Planning Department that Banks/Taylor Wimpey have submitted 21/0156/FUL for 97 houses on the plot of land between the west end of St Martins Way & Knowles Farm.  Written notification will be sent by SBC to residents most closely affected. The deadline for comments on this is stated as 17th February.

The proposed layout now indicates 97 houses [c.f. 90] & is more dense & linear than the one shown with the original application, which was approved on appeal by the Planning Inspectorate [PI] in July 2018.

The Kirklevington Action Group will be reformed & work closely with the Parish Council to: a] review all of the conditions set by the PI, & b] to make to the strongest possible representations at the planning committee hearing which will be held in due course.

​

Taylor Wimpey are currently 3-4 months from completion of the Morley Carr site.
