Who we are

NDB.jpg

Nigel De Badgecoe

Chair of the Parish Council

I have lived in the village twice now and love it here, I am married with one son and we can all be seen walking round the village nearly every night. Always have a pocket full of dog biscuits for our furry friends. Feel free to stop me if you have any Parish Council questions....

I have lived in the village for 21 years now, raised 2 adopted daughters with my husband Simon. We now have a granddaughter and shipoo dog, Rolo.
I am a primary school teacher who runs my own local tuition agency, tutoring many youngsters per week myself.

My wife and I moved to Kirklevington with our son in 2012. It's a great place to live and if you are passing our cottage, please stop and say hello.

Ruth Mazonas

Clerk and Financial Officer

I moved into Kirklevington many years ago  and have never wished to live anywhere else.  A brilliant place to bring up a family.  I have always liked being involved  with the community and when the opportunity arose to take up the role of Clerk and RFO I was delighted to be offered the role.

I have lived in the village for over 25 years and really enjoy living here. I work in Sunderland as CEO of a Charity and spend my weekends managing our large garden.. I hope to have more time in the coming year to get more involved in supporting the development of the village as a strong community that supports it's residents.
